    HALIFAX, N.S. - The AUS named it's last AUS Football Players of the Week for the 2019 season. Axemen Dale Wright, Anderson Recker and Ben George were named the AUS Players of the Week.
  • Axemen post undefeated season with 33-31 win over fiesty Mounties

    SACKVILLE, N.S. - The Mount Allison Mounties are headed back to the AUS playoffs for the first time since 2016 and the Acadia Axemen post a 8-0 undefeated season.  Despite losing 33-31 to U SPORTS No. 5 ranked Acadia Axemen, the Mounties finished in 3rd place thanks to Saint Mary’s loss to StFX on Saturday afternoon.

    WOLFVILLE, N.S. – Cole Estabrooks’ 46-yard rushing touchdown with 5:53 remaining in the game earned him the AUS Subway Player of the Game honours. Estabrooks’ timely major gave the Axemen a 22-15 lead in the closing minutes of the game and the eventual win over the visiting Mount Allison Mounties.

    ANTIGONISH, NS – Led by fourth year running back Dale Wright (Markham, ON) who scored three touchdowns, the Acadia Axemen defeated the StFX X-Men 54-19 Friday evening at StFX Stadium. 
  • Football Axemen open regular season with win over visiting Gaiters

    WOLFVILLE, N.S. – AUS Subway Player of the Game Hunter Guenard’s 273 yards passing combined with 90 yards in rushing from 2017 AUS MVP Dale Wright, catapulted the Acadia Axemen to a 53-13 win over the visiting Bishop’s Gaiters in the AUS regular season opener in Wolfville.

  • Six Axemen named to U SPORTS East-West Bowl Roster

    Six Axemen were named to the East roster including Offensive standouts Cordell Hastings, Hunter Guenard and Dale Wright. Three of the Axemen's top defenders were also named to the East roster including Bailey Feltmate, Rory Kelly and Jadin White-Frayne.
