Jeff Cummins enters his 15th season as head coach of the Axemen.

Named the AUS coach of the year for 2004, 2005, 2011 and 2012 along with being honored as the National CIS Coach of the Year in 2011, Cummins posted 7-1 records in 2011 and 2012 with AUS championship wins over the Saint Mary's Huskies, to capture his third and fourth AUS championships.

Cummins captured his first AUS Football Championship in 2005 with a 69-6 win over StFX and his second in 2006 with a win over Saint Mary's. To date (start of the 2015 regular season) Cummins has 50 wins and 48 losses while leading the Axemen.

In the 2017 campaign, Cummins will be coordinating the offence with the help of assistant coach Kyle Graves.

Cummins recently accepted the invitation to coach the defensive line for the 2015 Senior Men's National team. The International Federation of American Football (IFAF) Senior Men's World Championship will be held in Stockholm, Sweden in the summer of 2015. This will be the third time Cummins has represented Canada on the World stage previously working with the 2009 Junior National team and the Senior team in 2011.

As a defensive end and tackle, Cummins played in the Canadian Football League on various teams including: Las Vegas, Ottawa, Toronto and finishing with Hamilton Tiger Cats, where he captured a Grey Cup in 1999, all of which followed his graduation from the University of Oregon in 1993.

A native of Harbor City, California, Jeff makes Wolfville his home with wife Karen, son Joshua and daughter Sydney.
