Litt and Adams named Acadia athletes of the week

Rory Litt (football) and Leah Adams (women’s soccer) have been named Acadia athletes of the week for the period ending Sept. 14 following standout performances in AUS play.

Litt, a third-year engineering student from Upper Tantallon, N.S., led the Axemen defence with three sacks, four tackles for loss and 6.5 total tackles.

Adams, a fifth-year independent graduate student from Truro, N.S., scored twice in a 4-0 win over Moncton while also anchoring the backline as a centreback. It marked her first multi-goal game and her first multi-goal season.

Both football and soccer teams are home again this coming weekend as Bishop's is in town for Saturday's football game, with both soccer teams hosting UNB on Sunday. 

The Acadia athletes of the week are presented by McDonald’s.
