WOLFVILLE, N.S. - Amid the COVID-19 virus outbreak, Acadia Athletics is celebrating its student-athlete achievements online.
The annual Fred G. Kelly Awards night will take to the internet on all three of Acadia Athletics' social media channels including Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
Beginning on Saturday, March 28, team awards will be announced daily at 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm from March 28 to April 1. Acadia's major award winners will be announced throughout the day on Thursday, April 2 beginning at 11:00 am.
Each day the team awards – two teams per day – will be prefaced during the day by a one minute highlight videos of the best plays captured by our home webcasts.
On April 2, the major awards will be announced as follows:
11am – ASU Jimmy Atomate Award
1pm – APA Spirit Award / Volunteer of the Year Award
3pm – The Reverend Roger Prentice Citizenship Award
4pm – The President's Leadership Award
7pm – Outstanding First Year Athletes of the Year Award
8pm – Jean Marsh Outstanding Female Athlete of the Year / Athenaeum Outstanding Male Athlete of the Year.
