WOLFVILLE, N.S. – Michael Leslie, head coach of the Acadia University men's basketball team, announced today that Adam Rosenberger will join the Axemen basketball this season.
From Ottawa, Ont., Rosenberger is a 6'6" forward from Woodroffe High School and is also a member of the Ottawa West Hornets U19 AAA club.
"Adam is a versatile player with size and length who can play and score from multiple positions. Adam is a very good student who will be a welcome addition to our roster," noted head coach Michael Leslie.
Named the Junior Athlete of the Year at Woodroffe High School in 2019, Rosenberger was a co-captain for the Tigers from 2020 to this past season. During his time at Woodroffe, Rosenberger was the leading rebounder during the 2019-20 season and has led the Tigers in blocks from 2019 onward.
"I chose Acadia because of its great sense of community and connection to the town of Wolfville. In addition to that, the opportunity to be a part of Acadia's highly regarded biology program and the school's well-recognized basketball program, really convinced me to choose Acadia," said Rosenberger about his decision to attend Acadia.
Rosenberger is enrolled this coming academic year in a Bachelor of Science degree program.
