KAMLOOPS, B.C. (U SPORTS) – StFX striker Dan Hayfield was honoured with the Joe Johnson Memorial Trophy as U SPORTS men’s soccer Player of the Year Wednesday night. Acadia's Zach Visser was named the U SPORTS Community Service Award recipient.

SYDNEY, NS-  The hometown #1 seed Cape Breton University CAPERS pleased the home crowd by beating the 4th seeded Acadia Axemen 5-0. Charlie Waters (Lancashire, UK) and captain Stuart Heath (Belfast, IE) each scored a pair and Cory Bent (Preston, UK) added a single for the undefeated CAPERS. Axemen goalie Pietro Nottegar (Dartmouth, NS) made 4 saves on 9 shots.
