HALIFAX, N.S. — Acadia fell 3–0 to Dalhousie on Friday night at the Dalplex. The Axewomen dropped the sets 25–23, 25–22 and 25–16.
Alexia Lemay-Evans led Acadia with 10 kills, nine digs and two service aces for 12.5 points. Brianna Bourque added eight kills, one solo block and one block assist for 10 points. Mia Lemay-Evans had five kills, two aces and two block assists, finishing with 8.5 points.
Setter Katie MacLean recorded 26 assists, four digs and one ace. Sophie Edgar led the team with 12 digs, while Leah Weatherhead and Jenna Guy each had three kills.
As a team, Acadia posted 24 kills and hit .073 on 109 total attacks. They finished with five service aces and three total blocks. Dalhousie hit .182 and had nine aces and nine blocks in the win.
Acadia dropped to 1–5 with the result, while Dalhousie improved to 3–3.
