Axewomen place fourth at UdeM; Le Rudulier leads Acadia

MONCTON, N.B. — The Acadia Axewomen finished fourth in the team standings at the Université de Moncton Classique on Saturday, led by Anne-Sophie Le Rudulier, who placed 28th in 32:46.

Clementine MacLeod was Acadia's second finisher, taking 30th in 33:09. Grace Earle came 35th in 34:21, followed by Paris Buchanan in 36th at 34:50. Ava Joseph closed the scoring five in 39th with a time of 35:21. Jillian Hope (37:42, 51st) and Evelyn Tobin (38:49, 52nd) added depth for the Axewomen.

Acadia totalled 110 points to secure fourth place. St. Francis Xavier won the meet with 27 points, Dalhousie was second with 39, and Memorial placed third with 59. Caroline Ash of StFX claimed the individual title in 29:28.
