Bio

Daughter of Mike and Carla Blackburn, Jenna grew up playing for Halifax County United from U12 to U16. Jenna’s team won provincials 5 out of 6 years, and went on to win National Silver and Bronze medals. She then played for Dunbrack Premier Women from 2010- 2013, where she won a National Gold and Bronze medal with her team.

In High School, Jenna was awarded the Rick Kitley award for high achievements in academics as well as athletics over the course of her three years at Halifax West. She was also a member of the Nova Scotia Provincial Team from U13 to U16, the National Training Center Atlantic, and a member of the 2009 Nova Scotia Canada Games Team. She currently plays for Halifax County United Premier Women. Jenna was the Acadia Soccer Rookie of the Year in 2011, and was an Academic All Canadian in 2011 and 2013.

She has started all games in her first three years at Acadia and was also awarded 2nd Team All- Star in 2013. Jenna is involved with the WITS anti-bulling program, the SMILE program, and Kinderskills at Acadia. She also works as a youth soccer coach for the Halifax County United Soccer Club and has played Ringette for 13 years.
